James Moore

Dr. James Moore is a clinical psychologist with 53 years of experience in institutional, academic, and private settings. He founded a head injury treatment facility in Carbondale, Illinois, and has spent the last 36 years in private practice in Miami, Coral Springs, and The Villages, Florida. He trained at Elgin State Hospital, Illinois’ first psychiatric institution, where he gained extensive experience with a wide range of mental health conditions. Specializing in psychological evaluation, neuropsychology, forensic psychology, and geriatric psychology, Dr. Moore offers psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychoanalytic techniques when needed.
