Hi! ¡Hola! I'm Theresa Nayelie, a bilingual Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) serving clients throughout California via telehealth from my base in San Diego. My journey began working as an Associate Counselor with diverse populations including incarcerated youth, Transitional Age Youth (TAY), young adults, survivors of human trafficking, and school-based children and their families. When I'm not counseling, you'll find me exploring local coffee shops or hiking the beautiful San Diego trails! With over five years of specialized experience, I've focused on supporting adolescents, young adults, and TAY as they navigate social pressures, anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, and generational trauma. For the past three years, I've advanced to handle high-acuity cases, providing crisis intervention in both mobile response and in-custody settings.
